Some things never change

I took this picture on my lunch break today. It is the River Taff from the bridge leading to Ynysangharad Park in Pontypridd. I love this place!


I like going there and thinking, through everything that has happened in my life, this beautiful river has just kept flowing on and on...regardless of my mistakes, my despairs, my joys, my triumphs and the things of this world.


What's even more amazing and even more of a joy to me is that throughout all of these same things Jesus, who is God, has always been there and He has always been the same.


Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.


The God who saved you whenever it was you were saved is still the same God. His desire to know us and His love for us never changes. The God whom you were interested in before but didn't follow up on, is still the same God and He waits for you to come to Him. He wants to help you no matter how much you have already been helped. He still wants to forgive you some more, even if you have been forgiven many, many times. 


He is the same as before, the same right now and the same tomorrow.
