There are things in my life that I want so much that it hurts. Things money cannot buy. Things that I cannot force but have to wait for and see if they happen.
I was struggling today. Sometimes your heart wants to hold onto something, anything in order to satisfy one of these wants.
I prayed to the Lord and He gave me words similar to the verse above, 'Rejoice in me and I will give you the desires of your heart'.
This Christmas we're going to receive a lot of things we want. But for those things money can't buy, trust the Lord that He will give us what we need :)

So when you asked if I saw what happened to Skype I was thought, "Oh it wasn't my internet!" My internet gone retarded the last couple of days so I thought my issues with Skype were me. I am so glad that we already had our Skype date earlier this week, I would have been really sad to have planned to Skype with you yesterday and couldn't because of Skype being down :) Yay for God providing on Monday!
ReplyDeleteNot too much...I've been very Christmassy the last few days haha. I had to pick up some last minute Christmas gifts yesterday, then I made some more Christmas wreaths, then today I ran errands with my parents and had a nice lunch with them, and tonight we spend 5+ hours decorating gingerbread houses, making some food for Christmas Eve, and baking Christmas cookies. It took a lot more time than expected but it was so much fun! What about you?? Have you headed to your aunt and uncle's yet?

Well I guess you didn't have to live in suspense very long haha...yeah I didn't leave her in suspense and since I'm not on facebook I should have known I could count on her to post it on there haha...but yes I got a voicemail this afternoon saying that my visa had been approved :D

The consulate is supposed to call me back concerning a date but I don't know if that is my departure date or the date I go to Miami and pick it up...after the holidays I should know more about when I might be departing sometime in January I imagine but it kind of depends on the school and stuff here...I don't just want to drop everything here without a little closure. So once I know I'll let you know :)
And if you had send the gifts I'd probably be waiting until March or April for a visa haha
